Business Analyst (AI)
Keter AI is a senior-led AI consulting and engineering boutique that takes organisations from AI ambition to working systems, with strategy, product engineering, sovereign architecture and governance in one accountable team.
As Business Analyst (AI) you work at the start of every engagement. You run discovery with the client, map the process as it actually runs, help decide which use cases deserve a Demo or Proof of Concept, and write the requirements, success criteria and ROI case that both the engineers and the board can work from. You check whether the data is ready and raise EU AI Act questions early, so what we build rests on evidence rather than assumptions.
What we look for
Four or more years in business analysis, consulting or product work on technology projects, including at least one AI, data or automation initiative you can walk us through from discovery to delivery.
Confident facilitation of discovery workshops with senior stakeholders: you can hold a session with a COO, a head of data and a compliance lead and leave with decisions, not only notes.
Process mapping (BPMN or equivalent) and precise requirements: user stories, acceptance criteria and non-functional requirements that engineers can build and test against.
A working understanding of LLMs, retrieval, agents and classic machine learning, including their limits, so you can tell when AI is the right answer and when a rule, a report or a process change is better.
Data literacy: comfortable with SQL and spreadsheets for exploratory analysis, and able to judge data quality, access and ownership before a Proof of Concept starts.
Commercial judgement: you can build an ROI case with stated assumptions, define measurable success criteria for a Demo or Proof of Concept and support a clear go or no-go decision.
Working knowledge of the EU AI Act and GDPR, enough to flag risk classification, transparency and documentation needs early. Experience in financial services, insurance or the public sector is an advantage.
Clear written and spoken English (C1 or above) and the habit of writing short, decision-ready documents. Polish is an advantage.
What we offer
EUR 4,600-6,200 (about USD 5,100-6,900) per month, net of VAT, on a B2B contract invoiced monthly. Where you sit in the range depends on experience.
Fully remote, working on European time zones. Poland-based contractors are welcome. Occasional on-site client workshops are agreed well in advance.
A senior team: you work directly with the people who lead client relationships and with the engineers who build what you specify, with no layers in between.
Real client work across our engagement models, from AI Readiness Assessments to Production Sprints and advisory retainers, taking use cases from the first workshop to a working Proof of Concept and into production.
Breadth: AI strategy and adoption, sovereign AI, custom AI systems, AI-assisted engineering and AI governance under the EU AI Act.
An annual learning budget for courses and certification, agreed with you each year.
The selection process
Introductory call (30 minutes). Your background, the work you want to do and the practical terms.
Case session (90 minutes, live). We bring a short, anonymised business problem. You run a brief discovery with us and outline the use case, the success criteria for a Proof of Concept and the data you would need. No take-home assignment.
Final conversation. A discussion with our managing partner about the role, references and a start date.
